Grammy-winning guitar hero Albert Lee is set to blow the roof off The Canyon in Agoura Hills with his speedy style of fingerpicking, and as a former member of Eric Clapton's band, you know he comes with some serious musical credentials. Known as “the guitar player’s guitar player,” the legendary Lee's influential country-rock sound has been heard live and on disc supporting everyone from The Crickets and the Everly Brothers to Dave Edmunds, Emmylou Harris, Bill Wyman, Brad Paisley and Ricky Skaggs, who had a hit with Lee's signature song, "Country Boy." He's also released more than a dozen solo albums, including 2015's acoustic disc Highwayman. Lee occupies an odd niche in music. British by birth and upbringing, he spent the mid-'60s as a top R&B guitarist, but in the 1970s became one of the top rockabilly guitarists in the world, and no slouch in country music either. In England he's a household name, and in Nashville and L.A. he's been one of the most in-demand session guitarists around.
